West London Hotels

West London Hotels
To get the most bang for your buck on vacation be sure to plan, research, and compare all your travel options to be sure you have found the best travel deal available.
Many people choose London for their European vacation. Because London has 5 airports within driving distance, it makes the airlines more competitive on their fares. From London you can hop on the Eurostar Train to Paris and beyond. London is also considered a gateway for Europe.
Once you have found affordable airfare you will need to start researching and comparing hotels. Many people choose the area of West London for their hotel due to the proximity to public transportation, such as the underground rail system (the Tube) and public buses and cabs. Luckily, most of your research on hotels in West London can be done online. You will find that most hotels and resorts have their own website making it easy to compare rates, amenities, and location.
In the West London area you can choose from the Holiday Inn Brentford Lock Hotel, the Ramada Encore Hotel, Hotel 55, the Osterley Park Hotel, and the Holiday Inn Park Royal Hotel. You will also find cheap hotels and bed and breakfasts too. Hostels are usually the least expensive option as you have to share a room and a bathroom. These are usually great for university students. Remember to ask if they are offering any special packages. You might find they are offering a special that includes breakfast, internet usage, and/or local sightseeing or show tickets.
The restaurants in London are diverse. You can find every type and variety of cuisine within the city of London. Most of the larger hotels offer in house restaurants and lounges. Most local pubs offer great local fare. Be sure to try the fish and chips along with a pint or two. If you are on a tight budget you can always eat fast food for breakfast and lunch and then eat out in a restaurant for dinner. Try to find the time to experience afternoon tea while you are there. You can have tea and scones at the Ritz, the Waldorf Hilton, the Langham Hotel, or the Howard Hotel. There are too many choices to list them all. Afternoon tea is a great time to dress up and relax and pamper your self.
There are so many things to do and see while in London that you might have a hard time choosing what to see. If you are a sports enthusiast you can catch a game of Rugby at Twickenham Stadium or a game of Soccer at Wembley. Of course, you can always catch a game at most of the local pubs and lounges too.
